solid timber floor installation
Solid timber flooring

Solid timber flooring is an extremely popular option. This type of timber provides a modern look whilst keeping the classic charm that also adds value and comfort to your home. Solid timber flooring is suited best for those who want a durable, hardwearing floor that is easy to care for and maintain.

Solid timber flooring can outlast multiple resurfacing procedures during its life span. This requires sanding and polishing after installation.

Installation methods: secret-nailed, top-nailed, direct stick

Prefinished engineered flooring

Most prefinished engineered boards use a thin layer of real timber (2-6mm) on the top of inferior lower layers of wood substrate which has been treated, coloured, coated and sealed in a factory. This provides a couple of advantages over solid timber flooring, such as fast access to space and a shortened process overall (as it does not require the sanding and polishing stages). Unfinished engineered floor boards are also available.

Laminate flooring

Laminate flooring consists of several layers of high fibres and resin, bonded together with a high-pressure machine. On top, it has a high-resolution photographic image printed layer and protected with a clear, durable melamine resin. It is cost-effective way to decorate your floor without the waiting time after installation, meaning you can get back to decorating the space earlier!
